Database Systems

A lot of understanding of Microsoft Access is required for this module as these are what the labs are based on. I found Microsoft Access to be tedious at times so I had to go in search of some tutorials online for help. I came across a playlist of youtube tutorials offered be Simon Sez IT which I found very informative on how to use Microsoft Access to build databases.

On the SQL side of things for  building databases w3schools.com has some great tutorials all categorized into the different SQL commands making it easy to find any specific SQL command you may be looking for.

Mathamatics

Maths is something which I was never the best at so I wasn’t looking forward to having to do modules on it in college however having come across these two youtube channels, Khan Academy & PatrickJMT, these modules became less of a struggle. These channels offer excellent video tutorials on an array of maths topics all of which are organised into playlists making it easier for you to find video tutorials on the maths topic you happen to be studying/ are interested in learning.
